Ducks

Our ducks have come from various places. Unfortunately, the practice of incubating

duck and chicken eggs for school projects and care homes results in many

unwanted live birds and in our opinion is something that needs to be banned. Once

hatched, other than going back to the place who supplied them, where they will be

killed, sanctuaries are having to step in to save these innocent creatures.

We have also had ducks come in from people who think it is a good idea to have a

fluffy little duckling walk around their flat, until the novelty wears off, and yet again we

have to step in. There is no thought or care behind the production of these animals,

and time and time again, we pick up the pieces and ensure that their lives are

worthwhile and free.
