Rose's owner died and all her birds were taken to another rescue before her friend

could step in. Her friend paid to get the birds back and then reached out to us to see

if we would take Rose. Rose has two aviaries – an outdoor one for when the weather

is good and in indoor one where she stays overnight and in the cold winter months.

Rose keeps us entertained with her antics and is quite simply hilarious. Rose knows

all the dog’s names, and you can have a conversation with her. She is adept at

picking up on our common phrases, can mimic the sounds of the cats, smoke alarms

and phones, and is very good at accents – so much so that sometimes we think

we’re talking to each other but actually the conversation is with Rose!
